Our name
Pinotage is a distinctly South African wine varietal, a nod to our founders' South African roots and to the global ambitions of the company they've built. Like the grape, the company is the product of two strong traditions brought together: deep clinical experience and disciplined operational craft.

Two of our co-founders are practicing physicians, and the product carries their fingerprints. The scribe charts to each clinician's own templates because that's how doctors actually write. Every note waits for the clinician's approval before it touches the record. And every suggested code has to pass real CMS and ICD-10 checks, because their names are the ones on the claim.
